1^st HeDisc Workshop on open source Software for Control Systems

The RETECA foundation is currently sponsoring the "1st HeDiSC Workshop on Open Source Software for Control Systems". This workshop will be exclusively focused on open source tools and specially oriented to the Latin American context. The idea of this workshop is to bring together different Latin American and European research groups to concentrate on practical aspects of the implementation and application of open source software for control systems. The proposed workshop will be organized by the University of Applied Sciences of Southern Switzerland and a group of researchers and academicians from several Latin American universities and research centers. This group of people has recently formed an information exchange network called HeDiSC with the objective of promoting open source software for control systems in Latin America.
